When the warmth and heaviness of spring dissolve into one another,
it becomes a quiet prelude to life beginning to move.
An ambiguous yet fertile vitality,
born in the season of budding.
アーティストになった理由
花が風に揺れて美しいと感じる瞬間や、
誰かの幸せをそっと願う気持ち、
太陽のひかりにふれて、少しだけ救われたような感覚。
そうしたささやかな感情は
忙しさや不安の中で
いつの間にか見えなくなってしまうことがあります。
なくしてしまわないように。
そして、ふと立ち止まったときに思い出せるように、
心の中に浮かぶ景色をできるだけ
澄んだかたちで残すために
私はアーティストになりました。
Moments when I find beauty in flowers swaying in the breeze,
the quiet wish for someone else’s happiness,
or the feeling of being slightly soothed by the touch of sunlight—
such small, tender emotions can easily slip from view
amidst the busyness and anxiety of life.
To ensure I do not lose them,
to be able to recall them when I pause for a moment,
and to preserve the scenes that arise in my heart
in the clearest possible form,
I became an artist.
